The media seems to find all sorts of ways to HUNT the latest women who are President Jacob Zuma’s side chicks
Recently Sunday Sun declared that SABC Chairperson Ellen Tshabalala is the president’s lover.
“SABC chairwoman by day – president’s pet by night” read the story.
Did they see them in the bedroom? Do those people have a dress or semen or condoms, like in the Monica Lewinsky saga? Have they seen them smooching?
Tshabala has since angrily denied the allegations saying “I have no relationship with the President”.
In a statement released she said: “I feel violated that a newspaper can go to such lengths to carry news without the supporting facts, even though I told the journalist that there is no basis to the story.”
Presidential spokesperson Mac Maharaj is quoted in the paper as saying: “Did they see them in the bedroom? Do those people have a dress or semen or condoms, like in the Monica Lewinsky saga? Have they seen them smooching?”
Earlier this month the Mail & Guardian newspaper reported that the chairperson of SAA, was also in an intimate relationship with the President.
The newspaper commented that Myeni “appears to think her intimate relationship with President Jacob Zuma makes her untouchable.
Rumours of a romantic relationship between Zuma and Myeni, circulating since the latter’s rise to prominence, were not denied.
Both women have been in the spotlight because of their jobs.
Tshabalala in a bid to halt a parliamentary inquiry about whether she lied about her qualifications and Myeni is facing attacks on her allegedly erratic leadership.
